Language

Switch unsubscribe, confirmation, and survey pages to French, Spanish, or German. Email body, footer, and the Unsubscribe link are your copy — they are not auto-translated.

Lumail has two language surfaces. They are independent.

  1. Recipient pages — unsubscribe, confirmation, subscribe, and survey answers. These follow Settings → Language.
  2. Email content — subject, body, footer sentence, and the visible Unsubscribe label. You write these. Changing the organization language does not rewrite them.

The dashboard (everything under /orgs) stays in English.

Change the language of unsubscribe and confirmation pages

  1. Open Settings in the sidebar (the organization page).
  2. Find the Language card.
  3. Pick English, Français, Español, or Deutsch.
  4. Save.

That language is used for every page a recipient opens from your emails:

  • unsubscribe confirmation
  • subscription confirmation
  • tag subscribe / unsubscribe success
  • survey answer pages, including default NPS captions

It does not change the Lumail app, and it does not translate campaign or snippet copy.

New campaigns insert an English footer. Typical default copy:

  • You receive this email because you opt-in in our website.
  • a bold Unsubscribe link pointing at {{unsubscribeUrl}}

Click the text in the editor and rewrite it. The URL must stay {{unsubscribeUrl}}. Only the visible label is yours.

LanguageFooter sentenceLink label
FrenchVous recevez cet email car vous êtes inscrit à notre liste.Se désabonner
SpanishRecibes este email porque te suscribiste a nuestra lista.Darme de baja
GermanDu erhältst diese E-Mail, weil du dich für unsere Liste angemeldet hast.Abmelden

If the default sentence is wrong for your list (artists who did not opt in on a website, B2B outreach, a purchased list you already have consent for), replace it with whatever is true for that send.

To apply the same footer on every campaign:

  1. Open Campaigns → Snippets in the sidebar.
  2. Create a snippet with the translated footer and unsubscribe link.
  3. Insert that snippet in campaigns instead of the default English footer.

Editing the snippet updates every campaign that uses it.
