Action Step
Manage tags, fields, enrollment, unsubscribe, and webhooks in Workflow.
Perform subscriber management operations.
Action Types
Add Tags
Apply tags to the subscriber. Can trigger other workflows using "Tag Added" trigger.
If Add Tags is the final action in a workflow, Lumail completes the current run before evaluating workflows triggered by those tags. This makes a chain such as Workflow A → add tag-b → Workflow B compatible with a First Wins workflow group.
Keep the handoff tag in the final action. A tag added earlier in the workflow is evaluated immediately and can be blocked by First Wins while the current workflow is still active.
Remove Tags
Remove tags from the subscriber.
Unsubscribe
Change subscriber status to unsubscribed. They will no longer receive emails.
Add to Workflow
Add the subscriber to another eligible Workflow. The action can optionally target a starting step with workflowStepId. The target must be active and published, and its repeat, group, subscriber-status, and sending-access rules still apply. The target's trigger events and trigger audience filters are not re-checked — the same bypass as manual enrollment. Exit rules on the target still apply.
Set Field
Set one subscriber field using fieldId and a string value. Field changes can wake filter-based WAIT_UNTIL steps and success goals.
Webhook
Call an HTTPS endpoint with an optional secret and arbitrary JSON payload. Agent reads replace config.secret with [REDACTED]. That placeholder only copies a previously stored real secret. First configure or a new webhook step must write the real secret or omit it; otherwise the write is rejected. See Webhook Step.
Workflow configuration
{
"id": "action-customer",
"type": "ACTION",
"config": {
"actionType": "SET_FIELD",
"fieldId": "field-plan",
"value": "customer"
}
}Dry runs record ACTION_SKIPPED_DRY_RUN and do not execute tag, field, enrollment, unsubscribe, or webhook side effects.
